OUR SUSTAINABILITY PRINCIPLES

At SARLAZ, sustainability is an ongoing journey, not a destination. We know that creating 100% sustainable jewellery and accessories is an aspiration rather than today’s reality. Our commitment is to take honest, practical steps toward reducing our footprint while being transparent with our community.

A Transparent Approach

We avoid greenwashing. As an independent, handcrafted brand, our impact is naturally lower than mass production. Still, we continue to make conscious choices that reduce waste and energy use, always balancing responsibility with artistry.

What We’re Doing

Eco-conscious materials. Our designs are made with wood, clay, bamboo, and recycled paper. We strive to source raw materials responsibly, respecting both ethical business practices and the environment.

Low-waste practices. We minimise waste by designing for efficient use of materials and finding ways to repurpose offcuts where possible.

Handcrafted production. Each piece is crafted by hand, allowing us to maintain quality while avoiding energy-intensive, industrial-scale processes.

Packaging. We minimise packaging and design it for recyclability, reducing overall waste. At the same time, we are developing reuse strategies to keep materials in circulation and lessen reliance on virgin resources.

Sustainability is an ongoing process. As we grow, we remain committed to refining our methods and finding practical ways to reduce our impact—step by step, piece by piece—without compromising the artistry that defines SARLAZ.

Where We’re Going
